I used DaVinci Resolve to edit and combine multiple video clips provided by my professor. I organized the project by downloading the footage, storing it in designated folders, and importing it into DaVinci Resolve for editing. Using the Color page, I color corrected and color graded multiple clips by creating and adjusting nodes to achieve a consistent, professional look throughout the project. I also regularly saved my project and nodes to preserve my progress and ensure that my previous work was not lost.

SHHH Library

It all begins with an idea.

I served as the director for a student live-to-tape production that my partner and I created, collaborating closely to develop and execute our creative vision. We planned the production together, discussed ideas, and organized the overall direction of the show. During rehearsals, I worked with the actors while learning to operate the video switcher, call and remember camera cues, and manage transitions between multiple camera angles. I also learned how to import still images and audio into the production system, created titles using XPression, and operated the audio board to control music levels. Throughout the production, I assisted with microphone placement, called cues from the control room during the live recording, and helped provide and organize the props needed to successfully complete the project.

VX Photo SlideShow

It all begins with an idea.

I created a photo slideshow celebrating my cousin's life from infancy through his 15th birthday by collecting photos and videos from each stage of his life. I organized the media by age, uploaded the files to a flash drive, and imported them into Adobe Premiere Pro for editing. Using Premiere Pro, I color corrected and color graded the photos, arranged the slideshow to create a smooth and continuous flow, and applied transitions between images to enhance the viewing experience. I also searched for royalty-free background music, incorporated multiple songs into the slideshow, and used audio fade-ins and fade-outs to create seamless transitions and an emotional, polished final product.

Come and Get it

It all begins with an idea.

I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit and combine multiple video clips provided by my professor to create an action sequence. After reviewing all of the available footage, I selected the clips and B-roll that best conveyed the intensity and pacing of the scene. I enhanced the sequence by adding sound effects and applying slow-motion effects to emphasize key moments in the fight. I also incorporated match cuts to maintain a smooth, continuous flow between shots, creating a more engaging and dynamic viewing experience.

Trip to Puerto Rico

It all begins with an idea.

I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit and combine multiple video clips that I filmed around campus, capturing a variety of shot types, including wide shots, close-ups, and medium shots, to create a visually engaging project. I created a two-column video script to organize my clips, still images, and voice-over for each scene, ensuring a clear and organized production process. I recorded and incorporated a voice-over to support the narrative and enhance the storytelling. Additionally, I organized all of my footage by downloading it into designated folders before importing it into Premiere Pro, which helped streamline the editing workflow and keep the project well organized.

I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit and combine multiple video clips that I filmed around campus, capturing a variety of shot types, including wide shots, close-ups, and medium shots, to create a visually engaging project. Before editing, I developed a two-column video script to organize the sequence of clips, still images, and voice-over for each scene. I recorded and incorporated a voice-over to guide the narrative and enhance the storytelling throughout the video. I also ensured that all of my footage was properly downloaded, organized into folders, and imported into Premiere Pro, allowing for an efficient editing workflow and smooth project management.

Fairly legal

I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit and combine multiple video clips into four different versions of the same story, each portraying a unique relationship dynamic: he hates her, she hates him, he loves her, and she loves him. By selecting different clips, adjusting the sequence, and adding music, I was able to create distinct emotional tones for each version. This project demonstrated how editing choices, pacing, and sound design can completely change the audience's perception of the same footage.

Rock Climber Mini Documentary

I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit and combine multiple video clips into a mini-documentary about a rock climber. After reviewing all the footage my professor provided, I selected the clips and B-roll that best told the story of the climber's life. I organized the footage into a sequence that created a clear and engaging narrative. To ensure smooth transitions and continuity, I incorporated L-cuts, J-cuts, and fade-ins and fade-outs, while layering audio from different clips over the B-roll to create a more cohesive and immersive viewing experience.
